We are in the process of creating a BAME framework that supports both our employees and our members. We held a successful meeting during 2021’s annual conference and want to continue to build on that first meeting.
The details of future meetings will be updated on this page as will action points from the meetings such as;
Reviewing our Equality and Diversity policy, with the aim of creating a culture of fairness and support that we live and breath.
Creating a clear concise message on what we stand for internally and externally.
Champion fairness & equality within our organisation, within the work place and within society.
Fight for progressive change in areas we believe require our collective strength, leading by example.
The meetings will be held in January, April, July and October
The next meeting will be 30th April 2024 at 6.00pm and you can get the link by emailing Bame@bfawu.org or via the all member email going out at the beginning of December and January.
